Education Topic: From Start to Finish Planning and Events – RFP’s BEO’s & More

April’s presentation engages the members with the aspects hotel /planner interactions in the planning and events.  Addressing the topics of RFP’s, BEO’s, planning with hotel’s staff and “day of event” actions/duties. Information will be provided to help attendees have a better understanding of the hotel BEO and the BEO process. Our “experts” will help with creation of some tips or best practices for all stages of planning events.

Chris Bunting, CGMP Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Chris has over 25 years in the hospitality industry with experience at Hilton, Marriott, and Intercontinental Hotels along with independent properties. Working in both hotel sales and operations during his career, he has had the duties of selling and the delivery of events.

After the session, attendees will: 

•       Take home best practices for creating RFP’s, BEO’s, menus and managing   events on site.
•       Have better understanding of the Life cycle of a BEO
•       Learn from “expert's” tips for making their planning and events more successful.
